Texas Hospital Association Urges CMS to Adopt Cap Flexibility

In June 2018, the Texas Hospital Association submitted comments in response to CMS’ proposed FY2019 Hospital Inpatient Prospective Payment Systems (IPPS) rule. These comments argue that CMS can do more to advance GME flexibility, particularly in rural areas and areas with physician shortages, and reiterate THA’s support for the CapFlex proposal.
